Now in their 5th Year we are pleased to announce the call for applications for this year’s SEE Changemakers Recognition Awards 2017, supported by UnLtd.
With several categories and a range of influential judges to gain recognition and share insight with - please make time to nominate your university, colleagues and social ventures you are supporting this year. Deadline for nominations is 12th June and winners will be announced at the SEE Changemaker conference led by OSEP in Oxford on 28th June.
The SEE Changemakers Awards are open to staff, students, recent graduates and those with social ventures being supported by a Higher Education Institution/ University.
We will be inviting the following panel of people, influencing across the HE and SE sectors to review, critique and debate who will be awarded this year's SEE Changemakers Recognition Awards for university staff, students, and graduates championing social entrepreneurship. There are award for both supporters and social entrepreneurs themselves.

HEI Recognition Awards - for UK based HEIs/Universities
· Innovation in delivery of support to Social Entrepreneurs
· Innovation in Impactful partnership development to build ecosystems of support where Social Entrepreneurs can thrive
· HEI of the Year
HEI Recognition Awards for Champions of Social Entrepreneurship across the HE sector - for staff and associates championing social entrepreneurship in HE in the UK
· Social Entrepreneurship Champion of the Year
Plus we are introducing a new award:
‘Global HEI of the Year’ to tie together and share learning and innovation with what is going on globally across universities supporting social entrepreneurship and aligning with the HE/SE and emerging global interest in this. This is our call out to staff and social leaders across the community of global universities creating impact and innovation through social entrepreneurship and is not open for applications from HEIs/Universities in the UK.
Please see the relevant guidance notes and applications attached. These have been designed to be simple to complete and only take around 20 minutes as we know how busy everyone is.
Please make the time to nominate your organisation, a social enterprise champion and social ventures you are supporting – get yourself on the radar of the judges and be in with a chance of winning an award this year!
